Rachel Reid is a Canadian author of contemporary romance. She is best known for the Game Changers series, which follows gay hockey players in the NHL. The series began with Game Changer in 2018 and includes Heated Rivalry, Tough Guy, Common Goal, Role Model and The Long Game. She also wrote Time to Shine, the Ottawa-set Home Court Advantage series, and the standalone novel The Shots You Take. Reid lives in Nova Scotia. Her books combine sports settings with warm, funny and openly sexual love stories between men, and they helped bring m/m sports romance to a much wider readership. Heated Rivalry was adapted into a television series in 2025, which brought her work to a new audience.
