V. S. Ramachandran

V. S. Ramachandran is an Indian-American neuroscientist and professor at UC San Diego. Known for his ingenious low-tech experiments on neurological disorders, he has been called the Marco Polo of neuroscience. His work on phantom limbs, synesthesia, and mirror neurons has expanded understanding of the brain.
